Olivia Ripa graduated from Concordia University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science. With this great knowledge base she then decided to further her studies by completing an Applied Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at McGill University in 2013.

Olivia is really enthusiastic about patient care and always puts her patients’ goals first. The majority of Olivia’s experience has been in the field of orthopedics such as sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, acute and chronic pain and repetitive injuries.

Since joining the Kinatex team, Olivia has dedicated many hours specializing in oncology rehabilitation and is a Casley-Smith Certified Lymphedema Therapist (C.L.T.). Olivia feels like this is where she really found her passion. She is very dedicated to helping improve the overall quality of life and function of her clients throughout and beyond their cancer treatments.

Olivia has also advanced her knowledge by taking post-graduate courses on the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the spine, the Mulligan Concept for upper and lower extremities and the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute for the shoulder complex, the lower extremity complex and the lumbar and sacroiliac complexes.

In her spare time, Olivia can be found being a very busy mother to her son, spending time with family, jogging 5km, reading fiction novels and helping women embrace their natural curls through her Instagram account.
