Physiotherapist

Guilène Handfield holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from McGill University and specializes in paediatric physiotherapy for children aged 0 to 5 at Kinatex Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil. With over 25 years of experience in physiotherapy, she works closely with parents to help their children achieve their therapeutic goals.

Guilène has been part of the Kinatex team since 2021. She focuses on treating infants with conditions such as cranial deformities (flat head syndrome), torticollis, postural asymmetries (such as a preference for turning the head to one side or a head tilt), low muscle tone, and motor development delays. Her priority is to provide individualized care that takes into account the specific needs of each young patient.

At Kinatex Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, Guilène assesses and treats children aged 0 to 5 to support their development and improve their condition. She also equips parents with a home exercise program to help them actively support their child’s progress.
