About
Physiotherapist,
Owner
Christine is a co-owner and physiotherapist at Kinatex Lévis. She graduated in physiotherapy from the Université de Montréal in 2008 and was part of the first cohort of the university’s graduate microprogram in pelvic health and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
She began her career in the physiotherapy department at Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis Hospital. Her passion for pelvic health and pelvic floor rehabilitation led her to develop the hospital’s pelvic floor rehabilitation program. After several years in the public healthcare system, she transitioned to exclusively private practice. With the goal of bringing complementary healthcare services together under one roof, she founded Clinique Périnéa in 2019. In February 2024, Périnéa merged with Kinatex Lévis to offer an even broader range of complementary services.
Christine treats men, women, and children for a variety of conditions, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pain during sexual intercourse, and bladder-sphincter dysfunction.
In addition to her clinical practice, Christine is periodically invited by Université Laval to serve as an examiner for practical final examinations for both bachelor’s and master’s students in physiotherapy. To raise awareness of pelvic health and the benefits of pelvic floor rehabilitation, she also regularly delivers presentations and workshops for new mothers and healthcare professionals in the region.
