Physiotherapist
Cheryl Cornforth has many years of experience as a physiotherapist specialising in orthopedics, manual therapy and post-op care. She has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Western University and a Masters from McGill University. Cheryl worked in Boston and New York before returning to Montreal to run her family’s private physiotherapy clinic in NDG for close to 20 years. She joined Kinatex Westmount in 2024, and she also provides home physiotherapy services.
Cheryl’s approach is based on a thorough evaluation of the patient’s condition. She is certified to prescribe x-rays for acute musculoskeletal conditions if necessary. Treatment consists of hands-on manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy, and personalized exercise programs. Cheryl believes in educating and motivating patients to help improve their mobility and quality of life, and return them to the sports and activities they love.
