About
Physiotherapist
For over 30 years, Chantal Lapointe has passionately worked as a pediatric physiotherapist at the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Center in Montreal, across various fields such as burns, trauma, oncology, rheumatology, orthopedics, neurology, intensive care, pediatric lymphedema, and pediatric HIV. Since 2000, she has also been providing pediatric physiotherapy services at home in the Montreal area. She teaches therapeutic yoga to groups and offers individual sessions tailored to the needs of her clients.
A graduate of the Université de Montréal in 1991, her thirst for knowledge and curiosity have driven her to pursue ongoing training throughout the years. She earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2016 and completed her yoga teacher training in therapeutic yoga in 2021 (United Yoga Montreal). Always on the lookout for innovative practices, she launched a therapeutic yoga program for hospitalized youth struggling with eating disorders at CHU Sainte-Justine. She has also mentored future physiotherapists by supervising clinical internships at the Université de Montréal. Over the course of her career, she has received several awards for excellence and has taught at the Université de Montréal.
She now wishes to continue her passionate work with babies and children at the Kinatex clinic to optimize their physical and functional development and help them gain autonomy and confidence.
