When bending down, either to pick up something or to tie your shoes, always remember to bend from your hips and knees and not from your back.

When sitting at the computer remember to use your backrest and keep your back straight. Keep your shoulders square and do not slouch. THINK TALL!

Remember to warm up your muscles before stretching them. Gently exercise to the point of breaking a sweat and it will be sufficient. Then maintain a prolonged static stretch for a minimum of 30 seconds and do not bounce!

The best sleeping posture for your neck and back is on your side with a pillow between your legs. The pillow under your head should not to be too thick or too thin. Your head should be even with the rest of your spine. Good night and sweet dreams! |
